Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — The Mentoring Innovations for Manuscript Advancement and Research Output Publications Academy (MIMAROPA) Insights officially opened today, November 12, 2025, at the Good Chow Conference Room in Boac, Marinduque. The event is hosted by Marinduque State University (MarSU) in partnership with CHED MIMAROPA, and attended by faculty members from MarSU along with representatives from CHED MIMAROPA.

In his welcome message, MarSU President, Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to CHED for its continuous support in building research capability among higher education institutions. He also acknowledged the leadership of CHED Chairperson Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis and CHED MIMAROPA Regional Director Dr. Edna Mae F. Legazpi for their unwavering commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in higher education.
PDPZ emphasized that the academy embodies the vision of Chair Agrupis’ ACHIEVE agenda, particularly in promoting Academic Excellence, Collaborative Engagement, and Higher Education Innovation. He encouraged participants to conduct sincere, ethical, and impactful research that responds to real-world challenges and contributes meaningfully to local and national development.

“We must not only publish for compliance but publish with purpose and impact,” PDPZ remarked. “Research should bridge the gap between knowledge and community needs. Let us ensure that our scholarly works reflect integrity, relevance, and service to society. Thank you to CHED MIMAROPA for your continued support, and welcome to Marinduque.”
The three-day academy, running until November 14, 2025 aims to enhance research capability and strengthen publication readiness among educators and researchers across the MIMAROPA region through lectures, mentoring sessions, and hands-on workshops designed to advance research excellence and scholarly publication.
