Baliwag, Bulacan — The 11th Philippine Association for the Study of Culture, History and Religion (PASCHR) international conference is all set for August. Hosted by the Dalubhasaang Politekniko ng Lungsod ng Baliwag (BTECH) in collaboration with the National Research Council of the Philippines on August 7 to 9.

Dr. Bernabe Mijares Jr, Bohol Island State University College of Arts and Sciences Dean, would serve as plenary speaker on day 1. Among the highlights of the said conference is the CHARTS master class with Dr. Mark Iñigo Tallara, outgoing PASCHR President. Dr. Felicidad Pereña, 2025 visiting fellow from University College Dublin, Ireland, would also be a plenary speaker and launching her book “Insights and Inquiries in Philippine Studies.”

There would also be a special panel of Asian Institute of Journalism and Communication about “Theories and Case Studies in Cross-Cultural Communication.” This is going to be followed by a plenary speech by Dr. Nobleza and the launch of PASCHR Journal Volume 6.

The second day will feature a workshop plenary led by the NRCP Humanities Division, headed by Dr. Joyce Arriola and Dr. Louie Jon Sanchez. Before Day 2 concludes, the maiden volume of the CHARTS Journal will be officially launched. The third day will highlight a historical and cultural tour in Bulacan.
