Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — On February 12, 2025, the ASEZ World Mission Society Church of God University Student Volunteer Group paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, the esteemed President of Marinduque State University (MarSU). The visit was held at the OP Conference Room, as a gesture of goodwill and aimed at fostering stronger ties between the university and the ASEZ community.
Prof. Zulueta warmly welcomed the ASEZ representatives and expressed his gratitude for their visit. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and community organizations in promoting holistic development and service to society. The ASEZ group, in turn, shared their vision and mission, emphasizing their commitment to community service, spiritual growth, and youth empowerment.

As a background, ASEZ stands for Save the Earth from A to Z, reflecting the commitment of university students to make a global impact. ASEZ aims to create a happy world through changes of individuals. It has signed 154 MOUs with many agencies around the world.

The team was composed of university students from Republic of Korea together with local students from MarSU. ASEZ visit entailed proposal and invitation for a volunteering initiative at MarSU scheduled on February 20, 2025 with 7 Koreans and 12 local university students from ASEZ, signing of the Zero Plastic 2040 supporting signature and conducting volunteer activities such as campus clean-up and others.

The meeting was marked by a lively exchange of ideas and plans for future collaborations. Both parties discussed potential joint projects that could benefit the students and the wider community. Prof. Zulueta commended the ASEZ group for their dedication and encouraged them to continue their efforts in making a positive impact on society. Additionally, PDPZ signed the MOU which signifies his approval and support for this engagement.

The visit concluded with a shared commitment to work together towards common goals and to explore more opportunities for collaboration. The ASEZ group expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and the open dialogue, and they looked forward to future partnerships with MarSU.Together with PDPZ who received the group were Ms. Marife R. Madla (Head, Volunteering and Community Outreach), Ms. Maria Victoria Miciano (Head, Multifaith Services), Asso. Prof. Alfredo M. Ofrecio III (Director, Financial Services), and Mr. Jerome Lingon (IRO Faculty Assistant).
This courtesy visit not only strengthened the bond between ASEZ and MarSU but also set the stage for meaningful collaborations that will benefit both the university and the community at large.
