Odiongan, Romblon, Philippines — Officials from Marinduque State University attended the Reaffirmation Ceremony of Dr. Merian P. Catajay-Mani as the 5th President of Romblon State University on February 19, 2025, at the RSU Gymnasium, Odiongan, Romblon.

MarSU delegation was led by its University President, Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta. Together with PDPZ were Ms. Lenie Z. Rodriguez (Executive Assistant) and Asst. Prof. Marife M. Madla.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including CHED Chairperson Hon. J. Prospero E. De Vera III who administered the ceremony, CHED Commissioners and officials, Dr. Catajay-Mani’s family, SUC Presidents, representatives from National Line Agencies, Local Government Officials, RSU Officials, and other distinguished guests.

The Reaffirmation Ceremony was a significant event, marking a new chapter in Dr. Catajay-Mani’s presidency at Romblon State University. As the 5th President, Dr. Catajay-Mani has been leading the university towards excellence in education and community service since 2020.

The ceremony was highlighted by a keynote speech delivered by Dr. Catajay-Mani, in which she expressed her gratitude to the attendees and reiterated her commitment to continuing to serve the university and the community.

She also acknowledged her colleagues, faculty members, and staff who have significantly contributed to the university’s mission and vision. The Reaffirmation Ceremony served as a fitting tribute to Dr. Mani’s leadership and dedication to Romblon State University, and it reinforced the university’s commitment to excellence in education and community service.
