Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — The Marinduque State University (MarSU) through its DEM Taskforce successfully conducted the Stakeholders Consultative Meeting for the proposed curriculum of the Doctor of Education Major in Educational Management (DEM) on March 18, 2025 at the MarSU Board Room, Boac, Marinduque.
This consultation was under the OP Memorandum Order No. 26, s. 2025 Creation of Special Task Force for Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) Application for new graduate programs namely: Doctor of Public Administration (DPA), Doctor in Educational Management (DEM), and Master in Business Administration (MBA).
The consultative meeting gathered key stakeholders, including faculty members, academic leaders, and representatives from various educational institutions in the province such as Department of Education (DepEd), Saint Marry’s College of Marinduque, and Sangguniang Bayan-LGU Boac. They actively engaged in discussions, contributing valuable insights to enhance the proposed program’s structure and content.
The event aimed to ensure that the DEM program aligns with current educational trends, institutional goals, and the needs of educational managers in the province and beyond. It marks a significant step forward in MarSU’s commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to producing competent and forward-thinking educational managers. Further developments on the DEM program are expected following the successful integration of stakeholder feedback.

Dr. Joy R. Profugo (Faculty Regent), Dr. Julieta Q. Nabos (Dean, Graduate School), Dr. Leodegario M. Jalos, Jr. (Associate Dean, GS) and Dr. Joy S. Montejo (Dean, College of Education). Additionally, the DEM taskforce members were composed of Dr. Leodegario M. Jalos, Jr, Dr. Menandro Merlin, Dr. Rosalyn Dasco, Ms. Desiree Anne M. Sto. Domingo, Ms. Cristina S. Atienza, and Ms. Romalyn DC. Macayaon.
