Torrijos, Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University came together as one for a Family Day in celebration of the 125th Civil Service Month at Torrijos Stadium, Torrijos, Marinduque on September 29, 2025.

Hosted by the MarSU Torrijos Campus and the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA), the day was filled with fun and strengthened camaraderie. MarSU Torrijos Campus Director Assc. Prof. Harvey A. Dulay kicked off the celebration through an inspiring welcome message, followed by the opening message and rationale by Supervising Admin Officer & HRMU Head Ms. Erma E. Reyes, and the official message of University President Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta.

The highlight of the day was the Philippine Festival Dance Competition, where the participants and awardees were: Sinulog Festival (Administrative) – Champion – Best in Choreography Ati-Atihan Festival (MarSU Sta. Cruz Campus) – 1st runner-up Maskara Festival (College of Industrial Technology) – 2nd runner up – Best in Costume Magayon Festival (College of Information & Computing Sciences) – 3rd runner-up Pahiyas Festival (College of Arts & Social Sciences) – 4th runner-up.

The celebration closed with team-building activities, a closing message from CBA Dean Dr. Verna Liza L. Capiña, and the turnover of hosting for the next year’s Family Day to the College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (CFAS) and the Office of the Vice President for Research, Extension and Training (OVPRET).
