Boracay, Philippines — Representatives from Marinduque State University (MarSU) met with Hon. Dr. Desiderio R. Apag III, Chairperson of the MarSU Board of Regents and National President of the Institute of Computer Engineers of the Philippines (ICpEP), during the 5th International (13th National) Convention and 2025 General Assembly held at Paradise Garden Resort Hotel & Convention Center, Beachfront Station 2, Brgy. Manoc-Manoc, Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan.

The convention, scheduled from November 19 to 21, 2025, carries the theme “ONE ICpEP (Optimizing Nation-Building thru Engineering: Inspiring Change, Progress, Excellence, and Partnership)” and highlights the crucial contribution of Computer Engineering to national development. The event aims to promote sustainable growth through advanced technology, research, and innovation.

During the gathering, MarSU faculty delegates had the opportunity to engage in a brief conversation with Comm. Apag, extending an advance welcome as he prepares to visit Marinduque this Saturday.
