Boac, Marinduque Philippines — In celebration of National Women’s Month 2025, Marinduque State University successfully held Episode 2: GAD To Know ‘Flying Solo’ under the GAD2MeetU! Program at the MarSU Lounge, Boac, Marinduque on March 18, 2025 hosted by Ms. Maria Morena V. Santos (University and Board Secretary) and Atty. Arlyn R. Retardo (Legal Officer).
The program featured two remarkable women and courageous solo parents, Dr. Merryrose R. Palma and Ms. Evangeline L. Laugo, who shared their life experiences on how they became a solo parent, how brave they became, and how to handle every situation. At the end of the question and answer segment, some members of the audience also offered marriage advice and shared their life experiences as mothers and wives, providing valuable insights to the single women in the room.
The program aims to encourage, empower, and help women uncover their inner strengths and capabilities, enabling them to realize their full potential.
