About

Wilbert P. Benedicto, MIS

Unit Head

The Information and Communication Technology Unit or ICTU was established in 2005 as Student Auxiliary Services Unit of MSC. Its main purpose is to recommend and manage the ICT resources of all 4 branches of the College. In particular, ICTU must be able to address the needs of the students for Internet, LAN and WiFi Access. The center also responds to service requests such as troubleshooting and repair of the college IT equipment, networking, software installation and hardware configuration. The same is rendered for non-IT equipment on a job order request that generates income for the college.

Through the continuous support of the MarSU administration currently under the leadership of

Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, ICTU now supports the acquisition, development and implementation of different ICT infrastructure, equipment, management information systems (MIS) and other relevant technologies by providing technical assistance, exploring solutions and managing information in order to aid in achieving academic excellence, good governance and customer satisfaction.
