Marinduque, Philippines — In commemoration of the 105th Re-establishment Anniversary of Marinduque, themed “Isang Alab, Isang Marinduque,” the province celebrated its rich cultural heritage and achievements in various fields. A highlight of the event is the Gawad Marinduqueño 2025, which recognized outstanding individuals and organizations who have made significant contributions to the development of the province.

Marinduque State University (MarSU) President, Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, proudly accepted the Gawad Marinduqueño 2025 award in the field of education. This honor acknowledges Prof. Zulueta’s unwavering commitment to advancing education and fostering academic excellence in the province and beyond. The award ceremony took place on February 21, 2025, at the Capitol Compound in Bangbangalon, Boac, Marinduque.

The event was attended by local government officials, educators, and community members, all celebrating the progress and achievements of Marinduque over the past 105 years.
