Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University (MarSU) continues to promote internationalization and global engagement by participating in the CommTECH Nusantara Virtual Exploration of Indonesia – Ramadhan Edition, held from March 10 to March 21, 2025. Organized by Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Global Engagement, the two-week virtual program allowed participants to explore Indonesia’s culture, traditions, and language, with a focus on Ramadhan celebrations.

MarSU sent participants from the College of Education, College of Arts and Social Sciences, College of Industrial Technology, and College of Business and Accountancy. Activities included virtual city tours, cultural workshops, folk dances, and an introduction to Bahasa Indonesia, which was particularly beneficial for students in the BAELS program.

The program concluded with a Final Project presentation, where participants reflected on their cultural experiences. MarSU’s involvement in the exchange highlights the university’s commitment to fostering global competencies and cultural understanding, supported by University President Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, who remains dedicated to enhancing international opportunities for the university community.
