Boac, Marinduque — In a landmark move toward institutional growth and community service, Marinduque State University (MarSU) formally held the Ceremonial Signing of Land Purchase Documents today at the MarSU Lounge for its Gasan Campus, strengthening its commitment to accessible, island-based education. The acquisition, officially approved by the Board of Regents through Resolution No. 59, s. 2025, signals a new chapter in MarSU’s strategic development as the heart of higher learning in the province.

MarSU key officials graced the ceremony headed by MarSU President, Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, Atty. Crispin Francis M. Jandusay (Vice President for Administration and Finance), Ms. Erma E. Reyes (Supervising Administrative Officer), Dr. Jovito L. Opena (Former Campus Director, MarSU–Gasan), Dr. Paloma D. De Chavez (Dean, College of Fisheries and Allied Sciences), Ms. Kristine Montaron (Accountant), Mr. Jomel Leal (Budget Officer), and Ms. Mariel Magcamit (AO V-Gasan) with representative from other party, Mr. Gerardo A. Raqueño (Landowner).

They witnessed the event, which signifies MarSU’s strengthened foundation for future academic expansion and infrastructure development.

This undertaking reflects the University’s commitment to advancing its mandate of providing quality, relevant, and accessible education for the people of Marinduque.
