Marinduque, Philippines — In its continuous pursuit of internationalization and global learning, Marinduque State University (MarSU) proudly sends 10 delegates — 4 faculty members and 6 students from the International Relations Office (IRO) to participate in the CommTECH Nusantara 2025: Virtual Exploration of Indonesia – Ramadhan Edition, which will run from March 10 to 21, 2025.
CommTECH Nusantara 2025 is a short-term virtual program organized by the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia, that aims to provide participants from across the globe with an immersive cultural experience focusing on the rich traditions of Indonesia, especially the celebration of Ramadhan. The program also highlights art and cultural activities, such as traditional music, dance, and local festivities, while allowing participants to present their creative outputs through a Virtual Project Exhibition.
The program will be attended by 124 participants from 24 universities and colleges worldwide, with MarSU proudly representing the Philippines in this international endeavor. Through this opportunity, the MarSU delegates will engage in Fun Bahasa (Indonesian Language Learning), Cultural Activities, Virtual City Tours, and a Final Project Presentation, which will enhance their cross-cultural communication skills and global awareness.
This participation reflects MarSU’s strong commitment to fostering global partnerships, enhancing cultural exchange, and supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in promoting Quality Education (SDG 4) and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
The university’s internationalization efforts are made possible through the strong leadership and support of MarSU President, Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, whose vision for global engagement and academic excellence continues to provide students and faculty with opportunities for international exposure and collaboration.
As MarSU strengthens its presence in the global arena, this achievement serves as a stepping stone toward building stronger international networks and empowering its academic community to become globally competent and culturally aware individuals. Congratulations to the 10 faculty and student delegates from MarSU International Relations Office for being part of this prestigious international program! Your participation brings pride and honor to the university. We are proud of you!
