Quezon City, Philippines — In a significant display of commitment to the Regional Development Council (RDC) MIMAROPA Region, Marinduque State University (MarSU) participated in the First Quarter Social Development Council (SDC) Meeting on February 7, 2024, in Quezon City, where key stakeholders converged to discuss the RDC FY 2025 budget review, consultation, and endorsement, and to endorse strategic initiatives for FY 2026.

Officials from MarSU who attended the meeting were Asso. Prof. Alfredo M. Ofrecio III (Director for Financial Services/Chief PMS), and Ms. Mila Grace Gutierrez (Planning Officer III). In a notable meeting highlight, Ms. Gutierrez presented the university’s comprehensive proposal to endorse various projects, programs, and activities for Fiscal Year 2026. Her presentation underscored MarSU’s commitment to the region and provided a clear roadmap for the university’s strategic initiatives in the coming year.
