Quezon City, Philippines — On December 5, 2025, the Marinduque State University (MarSU) Board of Regents convenes its 6th Regular Meeting at the CHED Central Office Diliman, Quezon City. CHED Commissioner and MarSU BOR Chairperson, Hon. Desiderio R. Apag III, presides over the deliberations, guiding the Board through the University President’s Report and key agenda items involving financial and administrative operations, academic programs, and research and extension initiatives. The Board also resolves items submitted for confirmation, addresses additional matters raised during the session, and formally concludes the meeting after completing all discussions.
Present during the meeting were Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, University President and Vice Chairperson of the Board; Hon. Carmencita Laus, President of the Alumni Federation Inc.; Ms. Maria Bettina M. Fernandez the representative of Hon. Loren Legarda, Chair, Committee on Higher Technical & Vocational Education; Dr. Maria Morena V. Santos, Board Secretary; Dr. Joy R. Profugo, President of the MarSU Faculty Federations Inc.; Hon. Nolasco P. Revilla, President of the SSC Federation Inc.; Atty. Crispin Francis M. Jandusay, Vice President for Admin and Finance; Dr. Ma. Edelwina M. Blasé, Vice President for Research and Extension; and Dr. Alfredo M. Ofrecio III, Chief of Staff and Director for Financial Services; and other members participate through an online platform, ensuring full representation in the Board’s decision-making proceedings.
