Echague, Isabela, Philippines — On July 31, 2025, the Philippine Association of Research Managers, Inc. (PHILARM) convened its 6th National Board of Directors Meeting at the Cagayan Valley Agriculture, Aquatic and Resources Research and Development (CVAARRD) Building, Isabela State University (ISU), Echague Campus. Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, serving concurrently as President of PHILARM and President of Marinduque State University (MarSU), presided over the meeting.

Under Prof. Zulueta’s visionary leadership, the meeting highlighted the importance of unified research efforts among higher education institutions, government agencies, and research organizations across the country. As an active advocate of research-based collaboration, Pres. Zulueta emphasized PHILARM’s role in building strong institutional linkages that champion innovation and knowledge sharing, cornerstones of a thriving research culture.

The agenda of the meeting covered pressing organizational issues, updates on regional and national research initiatives, preparations for PHILARM’s participation in an upcoming international at Malaysia, and the setting of the calendar of activities for the National and International activities, financial report, and memberships. Attendees included PHILARM national officers, officers from the Cagayan Valley Chapter, and other members who participated virtually. Each representative provided valuable regional insights and updates, reinforcing the collective commitment to advancing research and development in the Philippines.

Through platforms such as PHILARM and gatherings like this, MarSU—under the leadership of Pres. Zulueta—continues to play a pivotal role in fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and collaborative research environment that empowers institutions nationwide.
