Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University (MarSU), through the leadership of its President, Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, DPA, took part as a guest in an episode of Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA) Online TV on August 23, 2025, held via Zoom.

The event, which aims to highlight best practices and experiences in advancing volunteerism, featured MarSU’s initiatives in strengthening volunteer engagement within the academe. President Zulueta was joined by Ms. Marife R. Madla, Head of Student Volunteering and Community Outreach, and Mr. Genroj Louise J. Laguna, President Student Volunteer, who both represented the university’s commitment to mobilizing faculty, staff, and students toward nation-building efforts.

During the session, MarSU shared insights on how the institution integrates volunteerism in academic programs, outreach activities, and community engagement, emphasizing the role of higher education institutions in mainstreaming volunteerism as part of holistic student development.
