The purpose was not only to spread holiday cheer to the elementary school pupils, but also to initiate a tradition of sharing the blessings the University has received and continue to receive, as highlighted in the opening remarks of MarSU VPAF, Atty. Crispin Francis M. Jandusay.

Driven by MarSU President Zulueta’s impetus to reach out and serve communities, the lively occasion started out with various short lessons for the pupils, with every grade tackling a different topic – on reading, caring for the environment, preparing for Christmas, financial literacy, a dance lesson, and bracelet making.

This was followed by a warm meal for everyone and, thus energized, segued into boisterous fun and games. Token of appreciation was also given by Maligaya Elementary School to MSCAAP, Inc., PICPA and KASINAG.

The children – around 127 of them – went home happy cuddling the toys and presents they received at the end of the party.
