Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — In celebration of the 125th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the Marinduque State University (MarSU) held the 2nd Dangal ng MarSU Awards on October 3, 2025 at the MarSU Gymnasium, recognizing faculty and administrative personnel who demonstrated exceptional performance and dedication to public service.
With the theme “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing Para sa Bayan,” the event highlighted the important role of every employee in advancing the university’s mission of excellence and service to the community.
The program commenced with an opening prayer led by Assoc. Prof. Julie P. Rodelas, Campus Director of MarSU Boac Campus, followed by the welcome and official message of University President, Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, who expressed his gratitude and admiration for the honorees’ unwavering commitment.
Ms. Erma E. Reyes, Supervising Administrative Officer I and Acting Chief Administrative Officer/HRMU Head, introduced the keynote speaker, Dir. Maria Leticia G. Reyna, Regional Director of the Civil Service Commission (CSC), delivered an inspirational message emphasizing the importance of integrity and excellence in government service.
An intermission number performed by the Culture and Arts Unit added a festive atmosphere before the ceremony’s highlight: the awarding of outstanding employees across various categories.
