Marikina, Philippines — In the continuous pursuit to strengthen the shared commitment to quality assurance and academic innovation, the Marinduque State University (MarSU) officials led by its President, Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, participated in the 38th Annual National Conference and General Assembly of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) with the theme “Elevate, Empower, and Expand QA in Higher Education.”. The event is scheduled from March 5 to 7, 2025 at Marikina Polytechnic College.

The AACCUP conference discussions focus on improving the quality of higher education in the Philippines and beyond. The conference aims to improve the overall quality of education by encouraging State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) to integrate emerging technologies and digital tools into their programs. This initiative seeks to enhance quality assurance (QA) standards in higher education through innovative strategies and best practices.

Additionally, the event also tackles empowering educators, administrators, and QA professionals by equipping them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and values to implement effective QA processes emphasizing the importance of strengthening collaboration and knowledge-sharing among institutions and global education partners to expand QA practices.

As part of the three-day event, MarSU delegates alongside other representatives from 116 member State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), will be engaging with local and international thought leaders. MarSU’s participation signifies dedication to upholding quality education and ensuring that its programs meet both national and international accreditation standards.
