Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University (MarSU) has opened its doors to nine families, comprising a total of 46 individuals, from Barangays Balogo and Tanza, who were temporarily displaced due to recent emergency conditions.

Coordinated efforts between local government units and the university’s DRR Team ensured the safe relocation and accommodation of affected residents within MarSU’s designated shelter areas with basic necessities and medical assistance provided.

Led by President Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta together with Atty. Cris Jandusay (VP for Admin & Finance) and Asso. Prof. Marvin P. Plata, MarSU DRR led by Mr. John Ryan Leaňo, including university staff and faculty members, assisted as an affirmation of MarSU’s commitment to community care and resilience.
