Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — Officials form Marinduque State University (MarSU) led by University President Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta paid a courtesy visit to the Boac Mayor, Armi DC Carrion, on August 18, 2025, to discuss preparations for the upcoming STRASUC Olympics 2025.

Accompanying the University President were Assoc. Prof. Marvin P. Plata, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services; Ms. Erma E. Reyes, Supervising Administrative Officer; Mr. Julie P. Rodelas, Campus Director; and Mr. Gerald Pajanustan, Head of Sports and Wellness. The MarSU delegation was warmly received by Vice Mayor Mark E. Seño, Hon. Alejnic Solomon, and other officials of the Boac Local Government Unit (LGU).

The visit focused on strengthening collaboration between MarSU and the LGU to ensure the success of the incoming STRASUC Olympics 2025. Discussions also covered other areas of institutional support and partnership.

MarSU expressed its gratitude to Mayor Carrion and the LGU for their continued commitment to supporting the university and its initiatives.
