Isabela, Philippines — In the continuous pursuit of internationalization and excellence in education, the Marinduque State University visited Isabela State University on February 19, 2025.

ISU warmly received MarSU at the Conference Hall of the ISU College of Medicine and Allied Health Professions (COM & AHP), ISU Echague with the delegation led by Assoc. Prof. Marvin P. Plata (MarSU Vice President, Student Affairs and Services), accompanied by Maria Joan C. Ocampo (Head, OVPSAS Foreign/International Students Services Office), Asst. Prof. Jholey Rose L. Lancion (Head, International Relations Office), Hon. Nolasco P. Revilla (Student Regent), and John Carlo B. Mogol (Assistant to the Dean, Administrative Concerns).

The team was welcomed by Dr. Jose P. Gallena, Jr. (Cluster Executive Officer, ISU Echague Campus) who expressed warm wishes for the benchmarking engagement and hoped for more future partnerships.

Additionally, the team explored the Fishery Center, ISU Echague then headed to ISU Cauayan afterwards. They were welcomed by ISU President Ricmar P. Aquino and the CEO of Cauayan Campus, Dr. Precy Delima. Dr. Lorelei Tabagao enriched the visit of MarSU to the Innovation Center and Business Incubation Center by sharing the activities and accomplishments of ICBI.
The tour for MarSU was also guided and supported by the CVAARRD Consortium Director, Miladis Mabutol, ISU Student Regent, Hon. Lex Cedric N. Aquino, and a College of Education faculty member.
The visit was made possible through the consistent support of the administration headed by Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta (MarSU President) who was also attending an equally important engagement.

With this activity, MarSU looks forward to enhancing its global presence through continuous partnerships and learning from various partners and stakeholders of the university.
