Marikina, Philippines — Marinduque State University President, Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, received the prestigious 1st Manuel T. Corpuz Outstanding Quality Champion Award on March 7, 2025 at Marikina Polytechnic College.

In honor of its founder, Dr. Manuel T. Corpuz, the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) established this award to recognize SUC Presidents who have successfully implemented quality management systems and promoted quality assurance in public higher education. It is AACCUP’s highest honor for performance excellence.

The award ceremony was attended by distinguished educators, accrediting officials, and academic leaders. AACCUP continues to play a pivotal role in promoting high standards in higher education through initiatives like the Manuel T. Corpuz Awards.
