Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — In a meaningful gathering held at Marinduque State University (MarSU) Gymnasium, the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Provincial Office of Marinduque successfully conducted the Distribution of Individual E-Titles and COCROM, along with the “Lawyers to the Benepisyaryo” initiative, under the Project SPLIT-Marinduque on July 2, 2025.

Gracing the occasion was the University President, Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, who delivered a short message of support and solidarity. PDPZ reaffirmed the University’s commitment to nation-building through active partnership with government agencies like DAR. He emphasized the role of higher education institutions in supporting community development and inclusive growth, particularly in empowering rural communities through education and legal literacy.

The event formally opened with welcome remarks from Hon. Armi DC. Carrion, Mayor of Boac, followed by opening remarks from Assistant Regional Director Josefina M. Lopez of DAR MiMaRoPa. A message of support was also delivered by Congressman Reynaldo P. Salvacion.

Highlighting the program was the official distribution of individual electronic titles (E-Titles) and Certificates of COCROM to ARBs, led by Engr. Virgilio L. Laggui, OIC-PARPO II of DAR Marinduque, and Atty. Marvin V. Bernal, Regional Director of DAR MiMaRoPa. Atty. Bernal also delivered a message during the distribution.

Select ARBs also conveyed their gratitude through heartfelt testimonies. The ceremony formally concluded with closing remarks delivered by Engr. Laggui.
