Despite the new normal in education, the Marinduque State College (MSC) opened its school year last September 1 with a series of orientation of freshie students with their respective programs. The School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) conducted the 5th Research and Development Colloquium last September 15-17 in celebration of teacher’s month and SAS days. The highlight of the 5th SAS R&D Consortium is the research index from 2017 to 2019. SAS Dean Dr. Ernesto Largado ushered in the new normal with his opening remarks and rationale. The SAS Research and Extension Coordinator provided the background and overview of the three-day colloquium. The 5th SAS R&D Colloquium also produced a proceedings of the abstracts of the presented papers and a video recording streamed last September 29. The said colloquium ended this year’s edition with a round table discussion about flexible learning, academic freeze and learning must continue.
