Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — A three-day Hybrid Accreditation Survey Visit of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges & Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) was held at Marinduque State College, Tanza, Boac, Marinduque on March 18-20, 2024.

The visit commenced on March 18, 2024 at the MSC Audio-Visual Room which was attended by MSC Officials, College Deans, and senior faculty members from the College of Information and Computing Sciences, the College of Education, the College of Industrial Technology, and the Graduate School.

As part of the opening program, the MSC Culture and Arts Unit rendered the traditional “Putong” as a welcome gesture to the On-site Validator and Team Leader, Dr. Sherwin B. Sapin, from Laguna State Polytechnic University.

Meanwhile, Asst. Prof. Raoul J. Magcamit – VP for Academic Affairs gave his welcome remarks followed by the official message of Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, College President, who stressed the necessity of giving importance to fostering unity for the future Marinduque State University, ready for internalization and transnational education.

Afterwards, Dr. Menandro M. Merlin, MSC Director for Institutional Quality Assurance introduced MSC’s key officials, while Dr. Riceli C. Mendoza, AACCUP Coordinator, introduced the eleven-member Accreditation Team. On the other hand, College Deans presented the MSC counterparts to the Accreditation Team.

The programs which undergone visit were Doctor of Education (3rd formal survey/ Phase 2), Bachelor of Secondary Education (4th formal survey/ Phase 2), Bachelor of Information Technology (4th formal survey), Bachelor of Information Systems (4th formal survey) and the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (4th formal survey).

This activity is truly a strong manifestation of the commitment and dedication of Marinduque State College to provide quality education and excellent services to the community and stakeholders.
