Zamboanga City, Philippines —The Marinduque State University, led by its President, Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta attended the COPC Awards Night: Recognition of Excellence on July 9, 2024 at the Garden Orchid Convention Center, Zamboanga City which is hosted and organized by the Commission on Higher Education.

MarSU is one of the recognized State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) having 100% of its program offerings with Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).

This recognition clearly manifests the University’s efforts in ensuring the quality and credibility of the offered undergraduate and graduate academic programs of MarSU. This is also the very first institutional award given to the university.

As stipulated in the CHED Memorandum Order 14 series of 2019, otherwise known as “Policies and Guidelines in the Issuance of Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) to State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs), COPC is a recognition that the specific degree programs being offered by SUCs/LUCs are fully compliant with the policies, standards, and guidelines of CHED.

Additionally, the said event is one of the highlights of the SUC Fair 2024 from July 9-11, 2024 at KCC Mall de Zamboanga, Zamboanga City.
