Manila, Philippines — With immense pride and joy, we are happy to announce that Marinduque State College has complied with the requirements for universityhood as reported by Dr. Raul Muyong during the 33rd House Committee on Higher and Technical Education Meeting, House of Representatives on May 20, 2024.

The on-site evaluation was conducted by CHED’s Office of Institutional Quality Assurance & Governance (OIQAG) on February 20-24, 2023 with the areas such as Programs and Enrollment, Faculty Profile, Research, Learning Resources Support Structures, Linkages and Outreach, Relevant Academic Policies, Systems, Procedures.

The result is set to be presented to the Commission En Banc on May 27, 2024 for approval by the Commission on Higher Education.
