Calapan, Mindoro, Philippines — Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta (MarSU President) conducted a two-day visitation and collaborative meeting at the Calapan City Campus of Mindoro State University (MinSU) on April 7 – 8, 2025.
The visit aimed to strengthen academic linkages, explore research partnerships, and initiate future internationalization efforts between the two state universities.
MinSU officials, led by Dr. Franie M. Afable, Campus Executive Director warmly received PDPZ. The collaborative discussion was joined by Mr. Leonel C. Mendoza, Officer-in-Charge, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension, Dr. Alice Ramos, Dean of the Graduate School, Ms. Emma Vida R. Liwanag, Officer-in-Charge Dean of the College of Business and Management, Ms. Germaine Mendoza, Director, NSTP, and Dr. Christian Anthony Agutaya.
In addition to the productive meetings, Prof. Zulueta was given a brief campus tour showcasing MinSU’s key facilities, academic buildings, and ongoing infrastructure developments. The tour provided valuable insights into the university’s current initiatives and its commitment to providing quality education and research opportunities.
Throughout the two-day engagement, both institutions actively exchanged ideas on key areas of mutual interest. Mr. Mendoza emphasized the potential for fruitful collaboration in various academic and research endeavours. Prof. Zulueta, in turn, highlighted the importance of future partnerships, internationalization initiatives, and research innovation as strategic directions for both universities.
