Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — The Marinduque State University College of Environmental Studies (MarSU CES) spearheaded an orientation and workshop about the Sustainable Development Goals on November 3-6, 2024. Initiated by the MarSU CES Dean Dr. Evangeline Mandia along with the faculty members and studentry, this was a follow up to last year’s Code Red for the Environmental.
The Palawan State University Graduate School faculty Asst. Prof. Maricel Elorde levelled off with the CES faculty and students about Education for Sustainable Development towards transformative and green education at the Marinduque State University main audio-visual room with the hashtag “MarSUCES4SDG.”
The MarSU CES faculty and students were grouped into the SDGs 1-17: poverty, hunger, health, education, water, gender, energy, economics, innovation, reduced inequalities, sustainable cities, responsible consumption, climate action, life on water, land, peace and partnerships.
The said event was highlighted by the selection of localized SDGs ambassadors which the proceedings would be presented during the first week of December. The best practice of localization initiatives for youth and alignment of impact ranking and times higher for faculty would be devoted during the next activity.
