Zamboanga City, Philippines — Led by its President, Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, Marinduque State University joined the opening program of SUC Fair 2024 at KCC Mall de Zamboanga, Zamboanga City from July 9-11, 2024.

Organized by the Commission on Higher Education and co-hosted by the Western Mindanao State University, this annual activity aims to recognize the invaluable contribution of stakeholders throughout the Philippines in advancing higher education, research, and development. It shall also serve as the highlight of the CHED anniversary celebration focusing on exploring strategies for navigating the global landscape through impactful innovations, cultural and arts preservation, and higher education quality.

The program commenced in the morning with the parade, ribbon cutting ceremony, presentation of the SUC Fair 2024 Coffee Table Book, and Mi Casita Booth Exhibit.

In the afternoon, CHED officials, SUC Presidents and invited guests gathered for luncheon followed by the Voz Quintet Vocal Competition. It was shortly followed by the Bailes y Canciones Cultural Show – Mindanao, COPC Awards Night: Recognition of Excellence and more socialization activities for the attendees.

PDPZ truly ensures the active representation of the institution to this national event. Together with PDPZ witnessing the event is Asso. Prof. Alfredo M. Ofrecio III-Chief, Presidential Management Staff/Director, Financial Services.
