Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — Championing the book publishing programs and initiatives, Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta-SUC President III, received the MarSU’s Certificate of Registration as Book Publisher (Print and Digital) from the National Book Development Board (NBDB) on June 13, 2024 at the Office of the College President, MSC Boac, Marinduque which was delivered by Dr. Randy T. Nobleza – Sentro ng Wika at Kultura Director & Island Innovation Academic Council representative.

Given the mandate, the National Book Development Board (NBDB) formulates, adopts and implements a National Book Policy and a corresponding National Book Development Plan that will serve as basis for fostering the progressive growth and viability of the book industry. It ensures an adequate supply of affordable, quality-produced books for the domestic export market.

Through the relentless effort of Dr. Nobeza with all the support from PDPZ and the whole administration, MarSU is truly one with NBDB in promoting the growth of book publishing in the Philippines hence, support is always given to all writers and authors pursuing careers in publishing.

Along with the certificate, Dr. Nobleza also gave copies of ‘Nagsasariling Araling Pilipino’ Volume No. 1, authored by him and MarSU Catalogue developed by various authors.

Subject to the terms and conditions prescribed, the said certification is valid until April 30, 2025.
