Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — As MarSU continuously hones future electrical engineers in Marinduque through partnership with various organizations, a Memorandum of Agreement signing between the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines – Marinduque Chapter and Marinduque State University was held at the OP Conference Room, MarSU Boac, Marinduque on October 31, 2024.
Led by MarSU’s smart working and celebrity President, Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, the MOA aims to assist IIEE National Organization’s goals in conducting various activities for its members especially members from MarSU community. Additionally, the agreement also aims to provide trainings utilizing MarSU’s facilities and expertise that are related to basic electricity, building wiring and maintenance, industrial control, and PEC standards. The agreement is valid for three years and may be renewed upon agreement of both parties.
Present from the IEEP Marinduque Chapter were Engr. Matthew L. Principe (IIEEP President) together with members, Engr. Mark Calumno, Engr. John Edzel Muhi. On the other hand, together with PDPZ were Engr. Melito L. Hirondo (Dean College of Engineering), Engr. Nilo Buenaventura, and Mr. Renato Jogno.
This partnership will not only enhance the educational experience for MarSU students but also contribute to the advancement of the electrical engineering field through shared knowledge, resources, and innovation. The MarSU academic community looks forward to the exciting opportunities this collaboration will bring and to the continued success of our joint initiatives. Together, MarSU and IIEEP Marinduque are lighting the path to a brighter future in engineering and beyond.
